Maori bread-

2 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
2/3 cup milk
vegetable oil

Mix together flour and baking powder in a large bowl.
use cheese grater to grate butter into flour mixture. Mix with fingers until mixture crumbles.
Add milk until a ball forms.
Dust counter with flour and roll dough 1" thick. Cut into 2" squares.
Fill an electric skillet with 2" of vegetable oil and turn to medium. When oil is hot fry each square until golden brown on each side.
remove with tongs and set on paper towel or brown bag to cool. Serve with butter or jam.

Homemade Peanut Butter-
2 cups unsalted roasted peanuts, shelled
1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Pour peanuts and vegetable oil into bowl of food processor and process for 3 minutes until smooth.

Sweet couscous-
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup couscous
1/2 cup raisins
1 tablespoon sugar or splenda
hot milk

Bring water and butter to a boil in a medium saucepan.
Turn off heat and stir in couscous, raisins, and sugar. cover pan and let set for 5 minutes.
Fluff couscous with a fork and scoop into 4 bowls. Pour a little hot milk on top and eat.

Kiwi in a cup-
1 kiwi
an egg cup or 3 ounce paper cup
honey

Cut off the top of the kiwi.
Place in cup cut side up and drizzle with honey, eat with a spoon

Dleicious Damper-
2 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 - 1 cup milk

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a cookie sheet. Stir together flour, baking powder and salt in a large mixing bowl.
Add milk and stir with a spoon until you have a soft dough.
Form dough into a ball and place on a cookie sheet.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, until bread sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
